{"id":1462,"date":"2025-08-26T16:32:38","date_gmt":"2025-08-26T20:32:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/institutdesynergologie.com\/training-policy-of-the-institute-of-synergology-ids\/"},"modified":"2026-08-10T21:17:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-11T01:17:08","slug":"training-policy-of-the-institute-of-synergology-ids","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/institutdesynergologie.com\/en\/training-policy-of-the-institute-of-synergology-ids\/","title":{"rendered":"TRAINING POLICY OF THE INSTITUTE OF SYNERGOLOGY (IDS)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Commitment to confidentiality and non-disclosure  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By registering for an IDS training course, whether online or face-to-face, you agree to abide by the terms of this training policy, particularly with regard to the confidentiality of training materials and the non-disclosure of lessons.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Intellectual property  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All training materials, including but not limited to documents, videos, presentations, exercises and case studies, are the exclusive property of IDS or other accredited synergology institutes. They are protected by copyright laws and may not be reproduced, distributed, modified or shared in any form without the prior written permission of IDS.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Recording and broadcasting  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is strictly forbidden to record, film, photograph or broadcast all or part of the training courses, whether online or face-to-face, without the prior written authorization of IDS. This prohibition extends to all media, including social media platforms, personal websites and messaging applications.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Personal, non-commercial use  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Training materials are intended for strictly personal, non-commercial use. You undertake not to use them for commercial purposes, in particular by reselling or renting them, or by using them for competing training courses.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Confidentiality of information  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You agree to keep confidential all information related to IDS training programs, including training materials, discussions with trainers and other participants, as well as any confidential information that may be shared with you during your training. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Limited synergology practice  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a student, you can never practice synergology and publicly place yourself in a formal position as an interpreter of non-verbal language.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Until you have obtained the title of Synergologist, awarded by the Association Qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise de Synergologie or the Association Europ\u00e9enne de Synergologie, you cannot call yourself a Synergologist.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Confirmation of attendance  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An invitation will be sent to you a few days before each training session. Please confirm your attendance as soon as possible so that we can ensure that the session runs smoothly.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Payment  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Payment for each training session is due prior to the start of the session. In the case of payment by cheque, an additional fee of $20 will be charged for any NSF cheque.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Assessment and certification  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each program includes a number of assessments. The passing grade is 75%. If necessary, students may retake each exam up to three times. However, after two failed attempts, the Institute will recommend a coaching session. This session, of a duration to be mutually agreed upon, will focus on areas that need improvement. A fee of $160 per hour applies for coaching sessions.      <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A document issued by IDS certifying that you have successfully completed a training program in synergology will be given to you after you have attended all the training sessions required for the chosen program and passed all the evaluations.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By accepting this training policy, you acknowledge that you have been informed that training in synergology, while enabling you to acquire or improve the knowledge required to practice a profession, is not recognized by the Minist\u00e8re de l&#8217;\u00c9ducation et de l&#8217;Enseignement sup\u00e9rieur du Qu\u00e9bec.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Compliance with the Code of Ethics  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a participant in IDS training programs, you agree to abide by the Synergology Code of Ethics and to apply what you learn in an ethical and responsible manner. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Modifications  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The IDS reserves the right to modify this training policy at any time. Changes will take effect as soon as they are posted on the IDS website.
