ARTICLE 1: PURPOSE
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between the Institut de Synergologie (“IDS”) and its clients with respect to the provision of training services. Any order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTC.
The prerequisites, objectives, and curriculum for each training program are specified in the document attached to the training contract.
ARTICLE 2: REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
All registrations become final after:
A written confirmation of registration will be sent after your registration has been approved.
Registration is open until 2 days before the start of the first session.
ARTICLE 3: RATES AND PAYMENTS
Prices are listed in Canadian dollars, plus taxes. They include training fees and course materials.
Payments can be made via Interac e-Transfer or credit card (through PayPal).
Installment payments (in 2, 3, or 4 installments) are possible subject to prior agreement, in accordance with the terms set forth in the training contract.
The balance must be paid no later than 30 days after the last session.
ARTICLE 4: CANCELLATION PERIOD
Individual customers have a 14-day withdrawal period beginning on the date the contract is signed and ending before the scheduled session.
Any withdrawal must be notified by certified letter with return receipt requested.
No payment may be required before this period expires.
ARTICLE 5: CANCELLATION AND REFUND
Cancellation by the customer
All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
Before the training begins: 15% of the total fees will be retained as compensation, except in cases of force majeure.
During the training: 30% of the fees for missed sessions will be retained.
Cancellation by the IDS
In the event of cancellation or postponement, the IDS will offer a new date or refund the full amount paid.
Force Majeure
Any cancellation due to force majeure (as defined in Article 1218 of the Civil Code) will result only in payment for services rendered on a pro rata basis.
ARTICLE 6: TRAINING PROCEDURES
The training sessions are conducted in a pre-recorded, remote format (via Zoom). Exams may be administered remotely, according to the instructions provided in the exam notification and depending on the size of the groups.
A minimum of 5 participants is required for a training session to take place. If groups are combined, the maximum number of participants is limited to 14.
Students must attend all sessions in order. Any absence must be excused.
The instructional and technical resources include live sessions via Zoom, course materials available through Dropbox, and interactive exercises on the e-learning platform.
ARTICLE 7: EVALUATION PROCEDURES
A certificate of participation is issued upon completion of all levels.
For the certificate of competence, a final assessment is conducted. The minimum passing score is 75%.
The results of the evaluation are provided in writing within 15 days of the end of the training.
ARTICLE 9: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All educational materials provided are protected by copyright. Reproduction or distribution without authorization is strictly prohibited.
Learners agree not to use the content for commercial purposes or to train others using IDS materials. They also agree not to record, film, or reproduce the training session in any form.
ARTICLE 10: CONFIDENTIALITY AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
IDS collects and processes its customers’ personal data in compliance with the GDPR.

ARTICLE 11: DISPUTES
Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec, unless the parties reach an amicable agreement beforehand.
